The boat ride was fun and informative, and the desert scenery was beautiful in its own way.

We had only a couple of casualitys during the ride---my mom's lens cover and Kaydence's flip-flop both fell overboard.

Kid-free dinner out! My dad was out of town most of the time we were there, but GG was kind enough to babysit the one night he was in town so that my parents, brother, sister and I could all go out to dinner.
Sunday my Aunt Jeanie invited us over for dinner---she made pasta (the quints favorite) and a chocolate cake that was to die for! (I loved it so much I made it for the quints birthday---hopefully I will be posting those pictures soon!)

All too soon it was time to say goodbye! We always have to take a "goodbye" picture in front of the office doors.
Farewell, Arizona!

Just looking at all those pictures make me exhausted. You really are one of the most amazing mothers I've ever known.
The cruise on the Dessert Belle looks really cool. Is it in Mesa?
Stephanie--It is kind of in Mesa---actually in the middle of the desert somewhere, but it was only about 20-30 min from my mom's house so not too far out there.
Next time I want to go with you to your Mom's house in Arizona.
