The Beanie Beds

I have had several people ask me about the beanie beds mentioned in my last post. They are made by a woman named Elva. She has been making them for about 12 years. She doesn't have a web site, but her e-mail is elval@cox.net. The beds are $22 plus shipping which is about $6. She has them on hand and can mail them any time.

My babies used them for about the first four months, and I loved them. Below are a couple of pictures of them. The first picture was taken during a photo shoot for an insurance magazine, so it doesn't really show how we actually used the beds, but you can get an idea of what they look like. The second picture is of babies actually sleeping with the beds. The beds are washable, but I usually put a blanket over the beanie bed so that I didn't have to wash them very often.
