A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

A few days ago, I decided to take some pictures of the babies in their matching, bunny-feet jammies. I took several pictures, hoping to get at least one picture where all the babies looked good. Ryder however did not want to cooperate.

Finally, Ryder decided that all this picture taking made him want to puke. As luck would have it, I caught the action shot of this decision on camera.

The projectile vomit actually made it all the way to Kassidy (on the end all the way to the left) and required her to have a complete wardrobe change. Once it landed, Rustin and Kaydence got it all over their face and hair--only Kyndall made it through unscathed.

I'm sorry, but that second shot had me in tears of laughter! Four out of five isn't bad, and he'll love that when he's older!

That is awesome! Not for the babies who got soaked by it, but what a picture! It is the silver lining to having to change three of them:)

My kids LOVE to watch your family videos and my 4-year-old likes to tell random people about the quints. Usually they don't believe her about "the five babies!!' until I confirm that it is true. We're all very impressed out here in England.

Hello! The other day my cousin sent me your blog and I started reading it with your first post and read backwards up til your current post. I was facinated! It was like reading the greatest book. I was on the edge of my chair the whole time. I laughed, I cried....at one point I wanted quints...but then by the end of the Mag story I changed my mind. It was great. It took me several days to read your blog due to my kiddos. I had to limit the amount of posts I would read at a time, or nothing would get done around here. I was so hooked. Anywho, I think your story is awesome and I love stalking your website now. I feel like I know you guys. Good luck with everything. You are super woman! I am dying to know how you blessed all those babies though? I'm sure your hubby was winded! Also-that puke picture is the greatest picture ever! I laughed so hard!!!!

I've been following your blog for awhile now. Can't remember how I found it.

Anyway - i couldn't figure out that second picture. Ikept looking at it, thinking, what did she put in his mouth to make him happy for the picture. I then proceeded to read the caption underneath.

I hate to say it, but that picture is great. I'm sure it wasn't great to bathe and clean and change everyone again, but great, nonetheless.

Hey guys! Thanks for making my day with that picture. I've been sick all morning, feeling like doing the same thing Ryder is doing in the picture . . . and this shot just gave me an out loud laugh! I needed that. ;)

R,

Glad you had time to post this morning as that tells me the week is going well. Hope you've been able to get in a run or two also.

The event and photo says it all and will surely become a classic with Ryder and his siblings.

I miss my little buddies and look forward to December.

Hugs for all

I have found that the messiest and most unpleasant family moments inevitably make the most endearing, (and funniest) memories. Congratulations for catching this one with your camera! You never could have done it if you had been trying! And BTW, the babies all look wonderful!

I have to say that give Visa a run for their money when it comes to "priceless" That is one of the best laughs i've had in weeks. The poor little guy will never be able to live that one down.

My family and I are happy to hear that you all are doing well. The babies sure are getting big. I have been following your story for months now and my two boys enjoy the pictures and videos. Thank you for letting all of us into your lives and sharing your story. It sure does make you think about having more. God bless you all.

This makes me wonder what kind of awesome camera you have to capture that kind of speed. Seems like you could earn some advertising money from the camera maker!

You still have a sense of humor so that's great! You should see Christina's triplets. They are huge!!! You'd never know that they were preemies. Love to you!

I am a Cedar Parker also and I just had to comment on that picture! That was hilarious! At first, I thought that it was some kind of strange pacifier contraption that you invented until I actually read what it really was! I was dying laughing at that point! I actually work at Vista Ridge High School. Your family is adorable and I totally am entertained by reading about you all! Thanks for the smiles and laughs! Lori Laws
