Rub-a-Dub-Dub, Five Babies in a Tub

With my mother-in-law here this week, we decided to be adventurous and give the babies their first bath in the big tub. It was quite a workout getting everyone undressed, weighed, bathed and dressed again---all while trying to prevent drowning and other life-threatening activities. The babies had a blast, and in the end, so did we!

Your posts are so fun to read. I'm so grateful that you take the time to post and keep us all updated. Love the tub picture. How blessed you must feel to have such beautiful sweet children.

Why keep the exercise step? Seems that all of the activity in your home would be one giant day-long workout every day!!! I can't remember how I happened onto your blog, but I really enjoy it. Such a houseful of cuties!

With how exhausting that sounds, I wouldn't blame you if you only bathed them once a month!

omg just look at those babies!!! they are ADORABLE!! I agree with cori ann, your posts are FUN to read.

Just look at Kyndall, she's so petite next to her "big" brothers and sisters!!!

Glad to see you've got the quints doing their step aerobics. I'm sure they understand the benefit of cardio, and that it builds really great calves.

They really know how to ham it up for the camera! Love it!

That is why it is "FIVE TIMES THE FUN" I know I ENJOY every moment I spend with your beautiful, wonderful family! It is not as hard as it seems when you get in there and 'just do it' It all gets done with joy and love.

OMG the "baby council" photo made me laugh out loud just thinking what they're discussing and the faces they must make at one another!

WOW that bath time sounded exhausting - but I bet it was a fun memory to make! Thanks for sharing!

I love baby council!! Too funny Rachelle. They look like they are plotting cute ways to overtake the world.

I didn't buy the patriotic flip floops. I'm trying to stay sober and stay away from buying more shoes. It's tough...

i found your blog kind of randomly. having just given birth to my daughter, i am still kind of obsessed with all things pregnancy related! i found your ultrasound on youtube and thought- whoa quints! how cool! i gotta see that! so i watched, and saw the link to your website. from there i found your blog! my husband and i are actually attending BYU-Idaho (and are obviously LDS too) what a neat coincidence that I found your blog randomly and we have that in common. Anyway, I'm rambling. I just wanted to tell you that I think you are such an amazing woman, and such a great mother. Having one is tough enough sometimes, I don't know how you do it! You are so truly blessed and I admire you greatly. I went back and read some of your earlier entries, and the entry about deciding against reduction got me so teary eyed. Heavenly Father really knows us and everything that happens is meant to. Thanks for writing, I think I will keep reading, if that is okay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us! (all 7 of them!)

Rachelle, I am NOT a cryer. But for some reason whenever I see your blog with those 5 cute babies growing up I get teary eyed! That bath looked easy but then I realized after reading your post it was still a ton of work! Keep up the excellent work (for 18 more years).

Love your picture of the kids in the laundry basket. I have a picture of my three (triplets) when they were about the dame age in the laundry basket and it is just precious. Thanks for sharing your family.

So, who is the portuguese speaker in the family? Why else would you call urine "she-she"?

You just crack me up, the past several postings with fab pictures have just been a feast for the eyes and a joy to look at. You make parenting of quints look easy and so much fun. I know it's fun because I've been there, I also know it's a ton of work. I could comment on each picture but tops for me are the bath and the babes already getting into step exercise. Sylvia had so much fun the week she was there, I'm thrilled for her but envious which is silly because she is their grandma. I think Tobi has in right about the council, they're plotting so you'd best listen in.

What adorable cutie pies you have! They are just the sweetest little babies. It was fun to run into you at Rudino's the other day with them in their five-seated jogging stroller! It made an awesome day even better.

Your pictures are the best!

I don't think your five cute babies in the tub counts as a bath. It's more like a pool party!

Rachelle - You were SO made to have these 5 beautiful babies all at once. I don't know if anyone could do it as well as you! I love looking at your blog and I wish I had added it to my list sooner - I am not too good at keeping some things updated on my blog! You are all adorable!
