Giveaway Winner!

Thanks everyone for sharing your stories and your favorite books with me! I am definitely going to be checking out some of those books! I am always looking for a good read, although lately I "read" all my books by listening to the audio version while I run, clean house, fold laundry, etc. I love books that make me LOOK for things to clean around the house just so I have an excuse to put on my headphones and keep listening to the story!

With a little help from Random.org, I randomly selected a winner for the book giveaway. Congratulations to Carol!

Thanks to a recent long road trip to Colorado, I finally had time to read Mark Shaver's book, "A Critical Loss of Balance". If you missed my last post, the book is about a dad whose daughter was kidnapped. Although she is returned safely, he goes a little crazy and sets out for justice. I thought the book was suspenseful and entertaining. The premise of the book was interesting. I enjoyed reading it, however, I felt it was lacking in character development. Some of the characters were a little flat and unbelievable. Overall it was an engaging read and it definitely helped fill the 30 hours in the car!

If you are interested, ‘A Critical Loss of Balance’ is available for purchase on Mark's website at the special promotional price of $12.99 or $3.99 for digital download; simply type the word "BALANCE" into the "discount code" box for this offer HERE.
